This year’s theme is: The Future of Quality
This topic supports the American Society for Quality’s theme for 2012. Our recovery from the world economic situation depends on the widespread practice of the skills of the members of the ASQ. We want to present a cross-section of these skills and how they contribute to a resolution of these economic issues. One aspect of our focus will be at the personal development level. It is important to recognize the interdependence of our skills so we can work effectively within our organizations to realize the vision and mission by reducing operating risk. Another focus will be on the cost of quality and the voice of the customer – two important guiding principles that will lead us to a collective goal of performance excellence.
BOSCON 2012 will feature the role that quality professionals play in defining the future of quality and their collective contribution to performance excellence and a recovery from our current economic situation. The future of quality must be focused on our collective efforts to work through the issues that confront society.
BOSCON 2012 invites all of you, whether your job title contains the word “quality” or not, to come and actively participate in an excellent program with outstanding speakers.
