Outreach

The outreach program’s objective is teaching quality theories, concepts, tools, and practices to Boston community organizations that do not currently have a formal quality program. The committee also works to promote name recognition of the section in the community.

By extending ourselves to other areas in the community through volunteer activities, partnerships are created where ASQ’s quality professionals provide feedback, apply quality concepts, and lead improvement activities that teach the organization quality practices. The outcome is an organization that has the information they need and the training required to repeat the process by themselves.

Upcoming Outreach activities include:

The Boston Section will be volunteering at the Greater Boston FoodBank on Saturday Feb 4 from 9:30am-12:00pm.

If you would like to help sort the food items before they are distributed, contact Ivan Orlinsky at iorlinsky@comcast.net with your name and phone number.  This is a great way to help those in need.

If you have a suggestion or opportunity for an outreach activity where the ASQ Boston Section can be of assistance, please contact us.
